Orthopaedic Surgery-Trauma and Adult Reconstruction
Dr. Wagg graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 1993. He completed his family medicine residency at McGillUniversity between 1993 and 1995. He practiced as a general duty medical office at CFB Gagetown in New Brunswick, from 1995 to 1999. He completed orthopaedic residency training at Dalhousie University in 2004. Dr. Wagg went on to complete Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship Training at the University of Calgary in 2004 to 2005. He practiced at the University of Alberta Hospital as an orthopaedic trauma surgeon from 2005 to 2008.
Dr. Wagg has been a member of the Canadian Armed Forces from 1990 until present. He has served three tours inAfghanistan from May to July of 2006; August to October 2007; and August to October 2009.
Primary orthopaedic interests include orthopaedic trauma, post traumatic reconstruction, hip and knee arthroplasty for arthritis, as well as arthroscopic ACL reconstruction.
